Sometimes good skincare doesn't need to be complicated.
Our Goat Milk Soaps begin with Stephenson's Goat Milk Soap Base, chosen for its creamy lather, gentle cleansing, and skin-conditioning qualities. From there, each small batch gets its own Rains Holistic Homestead touch with thoughtfully selected herbs, essential oils, fragrances, exfoliants, and other ingredients depending on the variety.
Goat milk naturally contains fats and components such as lactic acid that make it a wonderful addition to a cleansing bar. The result is a beautifully creamy soap that cleanses while leaving your skin feeling soft, smooth, and cared for.
Work the bar between wet hands or directly onto wet skin to create a creamy lather. Gently cleanse and rinse thoroughly with water.
Allow your soap to dry between uses. For the longest-lasting bar, keep it on a well-draining soap dish and away from standing water when not in use.
For external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation or sensitivity occurs.

Goat milk naturally contains lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid commonly used in skincare. In a rinse-off soap, it contributes to the overall character of this wonderfully creamy base.

Starting with a dependable goat milk base allows us to create all sorts of small-batch varieties — from beautifully scented bars to soaps made with herbs and exfoliating botanicals.
Because making something ourselves doesn't mean we have to pretend we made every ingredient from scratch.
We chose Stephenson's Goat Milk Soap Base because it gives us a consistent, high-quality foundation that we can build upon. We then turn that foundation into our own small-batch creations with ingredients selected specifically for each variety.
